Satisfaction Guaranteed

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, items may be returned within **14 days** of the purchase date. To qualify for a return, merchandise must be in **original and unworn** condition, accompanied by the **original receipt**, gift box, warranty cards, certificates, and booklets.

• **Restocking & Administration Fees**: Returns may be subject to restocking and administration fees.
• **Non-Returnable Items**: Discounted items, closeout sales, consignment jewellery, special orders, layaway purchases, modified or custom design pieces, and loose diamonds/gemstones are **final sale** and cannot be returned or exchanged.
• **Refunds**: Cash refunds under $100 will be issued as cash. Refunds over $100 will be issued by cheque within 7 days. Credit card refunds will be processed back to the same card.

Lifetime Protection Against Loss

If your original diamond is lost from its original mounting due to a **manufacturer’s defect**, Excel Jewellers will replace your lost diamond **free of charge** on one occasion, provided:

• The diamond was purchased from Excel Jewellers.
• Your jewellery has been brought in for **semi-annual inspections** to maintain its warranty.
• The loss is not due to theft, mysterious disappearance, everyday wear, or an act of God.

To maintain the validity of this **Lifetime Guarantee**, we recommend that you bring your jewellery in for a **semi-annual inspection** every 6 months. During these inspections, we will professionally clean your piece and check its settings, free of charge. Any necessary repairs must be completed by Excel Jewellers to uphold the warranty.

One-Year Warranty Against Defects

Excel Jewellers warrants your jewellery against defects in materials and workmanship for **one year** from the date of purchase. If any defects are found during this period, we will provide all necessary repairs free of charge. However, certain conditions are not covered:

• Normal wear and tear due to aging and use.
• Damage caused by accidents, abuse, or misuse.
• Repairs, alterations, or services performed by someone other than Excel Jewellers.
• Damage due to contact with chemicals, fire, or other harmful substances.
• Rhodium plating on white gold, which will naturally wear off and require re-plating over time.

Lifetime Trade-Up Option

At any time, you can trade in your original Excel Jewellers center diamond for a new one. Your trade-in will be credited toward a new diamond purchase, provided that the next diamond is **at least twice the price** of your original purchase. The minimum trade-in value is $1,000, and trade-ins cannot be accepted on used settings or mountings.
